scuffed loose dsd with good black paint

Came across a loose dsd in a shop didnt buy it chrome none shiny was scuffed lots and limbs were very loose. But to my suprise the black paint was really good! Didnt seem right to me. Is it plausable a loose limbed scuffed dsd would have good paint still?

Yeah the black paint usually first thing to get worn.

To be honest it is probably the hardest to find in great shape - I have had stiff limbs /crap paintwork and great paint work / stiff limbs - have come across plenty with faded silver but good paint/ These can be touched up quite easily - either deliberately or a custom back in the day from his original owner
