I thought it might be cool to showcase some of your models. I personally enjoy building and painting model kits.
I've just finished building the Bandai AT-ST. Maybe one or two minor details still to do, but it's a beautiful kit to put together.

Amazing work, I really admire people with your painting skills.
And yes a great idea for a thread.

Nice very idea for a thread Damian!

Not sure if you wanted non Star Wars but you're getting it

I built and modified this 40k Land speeder the other day, it needs a bit of filling and smoothing before I ruin it completely with my horrendous painting skills

That's a mighty fine build, Carl. A friend of mine does 40k. Brilliant stuff. I've noticed that your username is green?! Congratulations on becoming a mod!

Cool Scout Walker, lovely detail on that one. I started a model making thread a while back in the Props and Autographs section. Haven't built anything SW yet but I posted some I saw at Celebration and I've started a scratch built SW style speeder.

Excellent thread idea. Haven't built a model in years, this is inspiring me to get back into it. Nowadays tons of videos on youtube to help give you weathering tips. Weird thing, but I actually have a HND in modelmaking from Bournemouth Arts Institute. Wanted to get make ships for sci-fi films, but quickly learned that's like going to night school acting classes wanting to become the next A list actor. Now a London Cabby :D

Blinding work on the AT-ST by the way

This is a speeder I'm building, for Han and Chewie! Still needs a lot of work, it's just a bit of fun to try out some techniques. I wanted to have a go at making something from scratch. It's made from sheet styrene and various other plastic things. Going to try and keep it fairly simple.

I'm really enjoying seeing the builds on here, there's some very talented people on the forum!

I'm making slow progress with the DeAgostini Millennium Falcon kit, only really tackled the interior so far, and that's still a work in progress. It's a great kit, I'm enjoying the build but also making a lot of special modifications myself...

I've been meaning to post this for a while but as there isn't a dedicated customs thread, and I don't really have a showcase I wasn't too sure where to put my Bantha. I started this last summer and it was a ton of work! I eventually finished sculpting it last christmas, and painted this easter. I'd work on it a bit and get fed up and leave it for a few months. Already posted over at Rebelscum, but here is my version of a 1978 style Bantha.

Had a go at adding to the saddle. No spring loaded back flap unfortunately...

Here's the making of - sculpted over a POTF2 Bantha.

Found it a home.

Once I've finished up a few more customs I might start a customs thread.
