Thinking of selling collection, Vectis or a Toy Dealer for best 'quick' price?

As title suggests I am thinking of selling my collection, due to house downsizing. I don't do EvilBay or belong to Facebook and don't have the time or energy to sell it item by item.

I know I won't get as much via a Toy Dealer or Toy Auction but wondered how much less, in percentage terms, I was likely to get?
Also, how would it compare between a Dealer or Auctioneers? I know dealers give a lot less but then there are the horrendous fees + VAT + transportation costs etc if I went via Vectis.

I would really appreciate all input and suggestions, thanks :)

Hi, I'm in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Am about to post some updated images on the Valuation board from my post of around 2017. Will also try and find the photos I took of the Shuttle on my other thread.

My collection basically consists of loose figures, spaceships etc - none rare unfortunately. I have about 10 carded ROTJ ones, a few boxed mini rigs and ships (most of the boxes incomplete and tatty though), pop-up books and some comics.

Also have a few newer SW figures on cards from the 90's and a couple of toys and a 48" Battle Buddy Stormtrooper.

If your collection is mostly loose and 'low end' carded figures Vectis will probably still take them, but bundle them into a general TV auction. They tend to only do specialist sales for large collections with lots of rare/expensive items. But that would still probably be the best way to go for effort vs reward.

I'm trying to sort a list of items and some photos to send to Vectis to see what they say, as their website says you can do this for a free valuation. That will then give me an idea of the way forward, I think.
