Remember seeing it in a mates mini catalog back in the day and thinking it (and the Force lightsabers) looked amazing.
Was annoyed we couldn't find it in any shops.

Got the chance to add one to my collection last year - that was a long wait

Well, even though you don't still own it, it was a lovely example of an uncommon toy. I certainly don't own one myself, so well done for having a picture of a good example to share

Maybe it was only sold in USA ? Great you got it last year, better later than never. It looks really great, thanks for sharing it

Yes it did, once i'd taken it apart and spun the motor by hand to "refresh"it.
A very easy repair I'm sure you are aware of.

Sounds like it is what I did with the x-wing engine I have never heard the sound from such a blaster not any star wars blaster, only in the movies. I guess they do not make the same sound as in the movies ?

No they don't, in fact they make the same sort of sound as the vehicles as the concept is the same.
