hello all!

ive noticed recently that cardbacks are flavour of the month at the moment, quite happy to see that people have more love for them nowadays which is nice, im tempted to start myself once my loose run is ever completed, and even then i would have to go down a nice cheap jedi cardback route, anyways..

i was going through some ebay listings this week and noticed one that i had not seen before, the trilogo jawa cardback, it was at £70! not sure what it ended at?

how come this little fella very rarely pops up? were there not many made?

Another went last month on ebay for £77 which included the loose Jawa with his weapon.

Anyone on here win them?

Trilogo Jawa is a top 3 rarest trilogo cardback.

£70 would be a great price for a buyer.

just had a look, madine, jawa, boba, yak and hammerhead seem to be the rarest, i think i missed out on a tri yak about 5 years with a squashed bubble that went for £250.

I was watching that Trilogo Jawa cardback last night too... gave up when it hit £45 (yes, I'm a cheap skate.lol)

It sold for £70.98, which is a cheap price considering it's rarity.. it might have gone cheap as it didn't have Trilogo in the title... so didn't attract much attention.

I didn't realise he was worth that much. Ian might have one of them in the back of his garage somewhere.
What would a Tri Madine cardback go for?

Last one sold for £534.06 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIGURINE-STAR-WARS-VINTAGE-GENERAL-MADINE-AVEC-CARTE-DU-BLISTER-TRILOGO-/271575990871?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=AXP4oFT1E5pbY2LaXIvzCO3CnIU%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

It's the only one that's turned up in the last god knows how many years though, probably since Jason bought his reseal and turned that into a cardback I'd guess.

As for the Jawa, I've seen them sell for anything from £40-120 (with figure). When I bought mine I think I got it complete with the original figure for £80 or so, maybe £90 I can't remember now - since then I've seen a few sell in the £70-80 range.

Just depends who sees it and how many people want it really, there are quite a few Jawa cards out there so there is usually an opportunity to buy one if you are looking.

No Trilogo Cardbacks - but do have this little beauty

Holy crap!! £534 for a damaged card back. Jesus.

Yeah it's a lot but I guess if you are going for a set of Trilogos it's either pay that for a cardback or find £3-6k for a sealed one. Quite the difference in price!

I'd have taken a cardback for that very reason when I was collecting Trilogos but one never came up (ok so I might not have wanted to spend THAT much on a damaged cardback but the alternative of a sealed MOC was out of the question).

I know a guy that has every single Trilogo cardback apart from a Madine and he was willing to trade a POTF unproduced proof card for one a couple of years back!

You're missing the 3rd option. Just don't ****ing buy one. Leave it, for god's sake!!

My 3rd option was actually a Palitoy ROTJ Madine which was a cop out for sure but for £40 it was the easy way out

That is a lot for a Cardback, but if someone just needs this to complete a Cardback set of Trilogo's and have the cash then it doesn't surprise me.

It makes this Harbert Yoda Cardback seem cheap in comparison.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RARE-VINTAGE-STAR-WARS-HARBERT-ESB-YODA-CARDBACK-ORIGINAL-ITALIAN-/400733741284?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item5d4d97a0e4&nma=true&si=PiNbQwUoIKxqys0L2DNBXhVmM%252FU%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I have Harbert's and Trilogo's and given the choice would take the Yoda Harbert Cardback anyday.
