Question On Cardbacks

I was just wondering , I see cardbacks for sale that never even looked like they had a bubble on them as there is no damage whatsoever , so were these just carefully removed by people back when new or is there some other reason ?

Some just werent sealed well in the factory or by Toy Toni, so the bubbles leave little or no imprint when they come off.
