Best vintage figure book...?

Hi guys. What's the best book about the original Kenner vintage line. I bought Mark Bellomos book at the weekend and although it's really good I'd like something more about the actual toys rather than the characters. In some instances this is more like a character encyclopaedia than a book about the toys and their production.

For instance I don't want to know about how a tauntaun secretes it's waste products through its skin- I want to know about the actual figure!

Any suggestions?

I guess this might be quite niche. I've seen some kickstarter campaigns are out there but any suggestions welcome really.

Thanks

Not sure if it's out yet or how you would get one as the Kickstarter campaign has finished, I guess some will turn up for sale on the secondary market in time, didn't go for it myself but it did look impressive.

I recommend the Read Five book as well, can't wait for that to arrive.

Also as above the Echo guides are well worth the money as a reference guide, I endorse them highly as it was my figure collection that was used for the book :D

I was thinking of doing a post and asking if it could be pinned for action figure guides.
