Recent Prices

Hello all, I've been away from the hobby for a while and was tempted back by a cheeky moc purchase a few weeks back.

I'm sure this has already been discussed at length (so apologies if so) but prices seem to have gone through the roof!! I remember buying a 21 back hammerhead in pretty decent nick for about £55 6-7 years ago and it seems that you can double or treble that now even on ungraded items!!

Is there any reason for this and is it a trend we think is set to continue with the upcoming films/ kids getting into the old films etc?

For the record , I just picked up a 41 back brown snake Yoda, C7/7.5 ish for about £75 and that seems to be a bargain.

That would have been a bargain 20 years ago.

Prices are up and down.

MOCs like palitoy, all foreign, trilogo have gone mental.

Preproduction and rare items have also gone mental.

Oddball and box ships are down. Unless box ships are C9 or sealed.
