Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere (I presume it has, but couldn't find it), I saw these on Feebay and wondered if they are moulded from original moulds, how do you tell the difference and not end up with one of these instead on a true vintage piece?

Thanks

The sculpt to their faces looks different to me..? And as JC sagely says, surely the COO would be a the key 'tell' in hand. Would be interested in confirmation.

Seems to suggest noticeable differences and new date stamp.

Yeah, as I understand it the COO date info is different. The figures are also smaller than the vintage ones as these were cast off vintage figures.

I nearly bought this on Saturday at a toy fair, but didn't really want to part with £45 for a vintage oddball piece

The loose figures have a 1995 copyright and a China coo from what I remember. The figures are also quite different in hand. They were cast off the original figures and not made using the vintage molds, os they are slightly smaller when compared to the real thing.

The weapons also have a different feel to them with the sabers also having thicker tips.
