Do you know how this works? I've heard of sceretcinema before but have no idea how it works and the site has no info on it other than a bunch of dates.

Apparently it's amazing, this is from a friend of a friend. Think they had some problems last year and had to cancel some shows, but sorted now. To be honest I don't think your supposed to know what they do. I think for guys like us who have seen ESB loads of times, it's a way of seeing the film again but in a different way if that makes sense?

That's all I know really, perhaps someone else will know.

I don't know you at all PGowdy but I reckon this is right up your street.

I'm looking to attend this myself.

From what I understand once you buy your tickets you get more details by email.

But it doesn't even say how to buy tickets. :?

I think you have to check back on the 18 March.

Stitch up if you buy tickets and then it's on at like 6am.

Looks awesome. They've used tobacco dock previously. Would be cool if they had it there as it's just round the corner from my house.

From what a friend has told me about previous secret cinema's she's been to they re-enact scenes from the movies and sometimes there are stars from the movie there. One downside though is they really push you to buy merchandise while you're there throughout.

Rumours are tickets will be £75 each.

My major question is are they showing the original print or the SE?

I think they fuse live action with cinema?

my mate went to the back to the future one last year and said it was watching the film but with a stage built round it with actors and actresses playing parts in the back drop.

not sure how that works but he said he had a great time.

Just google secret cinema and look at the images. Looks like they really try and involve the audience and use locations that fit the theme of the film.

Wouldn't it be cool if it was in Pinewood on stage M with the Falcon.....I can dream can't I :D

As Rogue One will be filming there though and they're showing it through the summer I'm going to guess it will be an outdoor event with Dagobah swamp theme in or near some woods.

Am with you on that Grant....well accept for the Guinness part! :D

Still think my favourite viewing of any of the films was watching ROTJ in the park in Germany during CE2 8)
