Graded figures on ebay

Sorry for what seems an obvious question but AFA and UKG grading - I am assuming the experts grading only award the grade to original figures and weapons?

Once graded, can the boxes they come in be opened to view or are they sealed, never to be "free" again?

They are sealed and they try to only grade original items but they do make mistakes

They can be freed... with a big hammer..

Of course the case will be destroyed but a nice openable GW Acrylic case can take it's place so you can take the figure out and view it as much as you like.
