Hi guys I got a gift from a friend, I was not sure but he think it is a Lili Ledy Royal guard, I have never had a Lili ledy Royal Guard before so I am not 100% sure I have tried to compare it with the tig lili ledy guide but I am still a little bit confused so it would be cool if some of you could confirm if it is a lili ledy that I got from my friend ?

It is the one to the right on the picture, I have compared it with another royal guard.

Head is much more light read, coat is different, I would also say thinner, leg colour is darker, the black on the helmet is also darker and different :? sorry for the bad light, I took the pictures tonight. If you guys need better pictures then I can take some with sunlight tomorrow.

Hi Lars

Can't tell from the pics so

Wait for the LL experts to chip in but as far as I know the colour for LL is darker red ( purpley red if that makes sense), cloak is darker red and a different "weave" pattern ( like yours looks on the pic) darker helmet and Matt black visor on the helmet ( yours looks Matt on the pic)
Wolffs guide on coo should let you match that as well

Like I said though wait for the LL experts to chip in.

thanks michael :D maybe I should take some better pictures later today when I get home  I would say head is more orange red on this one.

the coo is the correct one :D

I have tried to compare it with this one on tig http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t2135p30-the-lili-ledy-guide-discussion-thread-part-1#ERG

But I must say the head looks more like this one to the right :?

Hi Lars, what colour is the stitching on the back of his under skirt? Ledy's are always cream or pink where as Kenners are always burgandy.

I would say forget plastic colour, as they all degrade at different rates. Forget head colours as I've had kenner figures the same head colour as ledy. Don't try to use fabric weave as you'll go blind.
The only way I would recommend is as Tarkin said above. Separate the underskirt at the back got a guaranteed tell.

ok here is a little update of pictures, I was a little surprised, it looks like a part of the underskirt is missing and there have been some repair so I can't say if it is the correct stitching, lucky me that I have not paid for it and it was just a gift with a few other items :D

But is it still a ledy ? :?

I would say No then. Its quite easy to tell. If you tease the seam apart stitching is cream and loose but keener is always very tight and bergundy

If you're on Facebook my name is Mark A Baker and I can send them to you.

Hold on... Think I've sussed it.

Those three cream dots are the stitches. You have to pull the skirt apart to see them properly.
If you do that and see bergundy stitches then it's a Kenner.
