8D8:

8D8_Databank.jpg

One of my favorite figures when I was a kid, I had him when I was a kid in the 80s and I remember I think it was cool that you could remove his legs. One of my friends told me a story about 8D8 when I was a kid in the 80s and I first saw return of the jedi after I got my 8D8. He told me he had seen return of the jedi and there was a huge army in a dungeon of 8D8, they were living skeletons living in a cave and they hunted darth vader and wanted to kill and eat him, I must admit I believed it until I finally saw return of the jedi  Then I learned there was only one and he did not hunt darth vader

I have some contractors here working on my apartment so I have not so much room and I can't get my 8D8 collection out before they are done in may month :( so I hope you guys can help with some great 8D8 pictures as always

I'll try and get a photo of mine tomorrow Lars. I have been on the hunt for a minty loose 8D8 for a few years. They get listed as minty but invariably turn up with more discolouration than my current one (maybe I'm too fussy and chase the impossible dream). Nice MOC BTW. Funny it's the limbs on mine that are slightly discoloured.

I love 8D8 and have been on the look out for a tri or clear bubble Kenner for a long time.

I used to own these but sold to put funds elsewhere. I'm too tight to pay 2018 prices to replace them

Beautiful moc 8) and I am glad you like the story  I have some moc, cardbacks and some loose variants of 8D8. But I am not sure that I can get them out. I maybe have to remove to many things before I can get them out of the closet :? But the contractors will not be there in the holidays so I will try to use the easter holidays to get my 8D8 collection out :D

sorry to read that you have no 8D8 items :( Yes I remember Joe had a great 8D8 collection, I think he still have some 8D8 items. I gave him in 2017 or 2016 a 8D8 cardback that he was missing in his collection.

Here's a 79 back card I picked up in Plymouth a couple years ago, which I thought was a cool find and my childhood Trilogo card with childhood figure. Note the Knees price sticker. :)

I new someone would ask that, I moved a lot to where the figure was when I was a kid, really not sure why. I think I even swapped some price tags around, don't ask why. :)

Here are my loose pair, one of each thigh circle / no circle variant:

In case anyone is unfamiliar with the variant (there may be a couple of you out there somewhere!), the arrows should clue you in! :)
