I'm doing a piece for the podcast on the history of Celebration this weekend and was just doing some research and chanced upon this photo from Celebration Europe in London 2007, Edd is looking proper fresh.

Good photo. Long while ago now, I'd only just started collecting. I had no knowledge of Celebration then. Is that Spoons with the curly mop 2nd right??! Edd does look about 12. I mean that as a compliment, I prob looked about 40 then and I was 31!

Loved 2007 Cel Europe 8) Far less chaotic than Cel London 2016 naturally. Must dig out that nice brochure that was done for 2007.

Great photo guys.

I think he still checks in from time to time, but he dropped off the radar when his wife had a couple of kids.

I was only 25 in 2007 so not far off 12  it was a really good event, I enjoyed it more than the last one.

I remember 2007 was moctastic. I didn't buy any but pretty sure I remember browsing a few stalls run by international sellers that had bucket loads of carded goodness

That was a great event, prices not too bad, queues not too bad, good interaction with the cast & crew and a decent guest list, and of course the Palitoy archive. Good memories!

It was good for MOCs, I got this from a guy who had covered the floor in MOCs. One of the rarest Kenner Hans that I'd been looking for for a while.

Had it up for sale for £90 but accepted £60. That was still quite expensive then - those were the days

It really was £1-$2 made buying from the States a dream. Never seemed to get customs charges either

Another great photo Jason, Mark Alders and Gary Smith look pretty fresh too, Dave doesn't look any different, must be that laid back lifestyle in the new forest

Just been through some old photos and found these from 2007. I think the owner of this stand was from the US or Canada but can't be sure. As you can see the selection was huge and there was a lovely three pack. Hard to see price stickers of MOCs. Just thought people might find the pictures interesting....
