I just put a dozen bids in. Half SW half other stuff.

I've also done what I call "The UKS bugger up" strategy of double bidding (this time deliberately) on a couple of pieces to ensure I get them... or at least put some serious effort in!

I also think some of the non SW estimates are well out. I have put some numbers on things 4x the estimate. And I am not sure it would get it! And I'm bidding on boxes of junk to get one item. I am sort of hoping for outbids so I can not have to drive and pick up again.

Anyway, very exciting this time!

Get a condition report if bidding on the Luke stormtrooper trilogo. I won one at the last auction and returned it as the bubble was badly lifting - this might be the same one.

Had a look at the catalogue and lot 4001 is an AFA Lando that I sold on eBay in April, to what looked like a normal private buyer.

How very odd.

Funny you should say that, there is a Palitoy ESB 45b Chewy with Finland price sticker (lot 4017) that I sold a few months ago. Exact same figure.

Do you think it's someone flipping in the hope they can ride the Vectis wave?

Or maybe a collector selling up?

Or Vectis themselves?

I thought Bossk looked familiar.
But could be someone who has decided to sell up suddenly, and doesn't fancy the ebay route not even on a £1 listing offer.

Not much in this one for me if it wasn't for that box of star wars alarm clocks I wouldn't even get out of bed for it

Well I didn't own the Chewy for long myself as the tinted bubble bothered me. I'm not judging him for doing the same. Perhaps he's just off loading spares and pieces he doesn't care for in order to fund other purchases. I wonder if there's a minimum number of pieces you can submit to Vectis for auction?

Yes you guys are right. And ultimately what he does with what he purchased is up to him.

After all no one else wanted the item more than him.
