I love IG-88! I can still clearly remember excitedly tearing open my first one back in 1980 in the backseat of my mum's car on the way back from the shops :-D. The character was mysterious and only briefly glimpsed in The Empire Strikes Back, but along with his fellow bounty hunters, he certainly made an impression! What a curious, alien, but brilliant design he had! A killer space robot, and what young boy wouldn't find that cool?! And the figure was just as great too, and it came with TWO weapons!.... Good times :-D

Years pass and I now have more than just the one, but the figure still appeals to me and still retains the cool factor from my childhood. Here's a mix of goldish, grey and silver, dull and shiny finishes, with various shades of orange or red eye paint, with different sculpts featuring wire or missing wire on the right leg, and smooth, pin-prick or hollow eyes, and short or long side antennae :)
