Holy f**k. Kenner dumpster diving is actually alive and well and happening in 2019.
For those of you on FB and haven't seen the story check out the link on the Star Wars 12 back group at:

The Lehmkuhl Brothers (Sean and Ryan) are well known in the US for recent epic Star Wars finds in the wild but this is usually uncovering an under the radar collection. It's unusual to find a story where dumpster diving actually brings reward. But the guys had been in the area and had this to say:
"I purchased something the other night which led to this area and I had a hunch. If I hadnt seen the dumpster with the box on top we would have never pursued it. I actually drove by, took a quick photo, and went back later when I noticed what looked like a box in a far away photo I had. When I found the box, I was able to locate the owner of the house and cross references their name with Kenner directories. I then knew there may be other treasures and we got permission to dig."
After 2 solid days of dumpster diving they uncovered a few items including wait for it... a3 pack Hero Set with Han Solo, Leia Organa and Ben Kenobi in. What made it even more special was that it was in the words of Jesse Cedar Soberman "an employee store prototype". More details on this can be found on the SWCA at:

This should go some ways to helping dispel the doubters that called bulls**t and insinuated the whole thing was staged. What an awesome epic story and should give hope to others that there's more out there waiting to be uncovered... now where was that landfill in Coalville again
