Hello. I have just recently started studying the star wars figures from 77 - 85. While looking into variations I realized that the figure that I have is on a dark blue card as opposed to the light blue. I remember reading a comment somewhere that said that this didn't happen often on the 41 back. Can anyone give me some feedback on this? I also noticed that he's backwards in the package. or at least the stickers are. Ive seen pictures of this error in my studies. What are the chances of both of these things occurring at the same time? Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

This post has been edited. I made a mistake in referring to a 21 back. this figure is actually a 41 back. And I have attached photos.

Hi, you'll really need to add a photo so people can see it, we can't give you any advice on authenticity from just a description. You can attach photos to your posts.

I'll bump this thread for you, interseting R2 is the wrong way round. Think the card has very vibrent colours, but others may know more. :)

I love 21 backs and used to collect them.
Nice piece mate but i can't be of much help regarding the diffetent colour blue variation.
I have seen R2's the wrong way before as i guess it was one of the easiest figures to get wrong by the bubble press operater.

Regards
Paul
