I sold my collection in the early 90's. It was the bane of my life for many years, I was never going to come back to Star Wars collecting after that.
Yet here I am reading all your waffle on this forum going back years now catching up on what I've missed is like heroin.
It's taken me so long to get back here. Although I sold all that boxed and carded good stuff I never got rid of my childhood collection and I've always added modern bits with Xmas and birthday requests. AT the moment I'm drip feeding out of a large box in the garage, today I dug deep to see if I could put together a complete X-wing, which I could although 2 of the guns had been chewed on the ends? Ffs who chews their x-wing guns? I do have a brief recollection of enjoying chomping on them though. And a canopy with one missing lug, add a luke X wing with marker pen all over him and we're up on a step ladder with fishing line hanging them from the rafters ....

Found a few more bits to add to the Attack Base...

I live by the sea, where for some reason, there have always been dealer shops?
Anyway for the first time in 28 years, this week I went and spent good money on mint vintage figures.
And the dealer still tried to tel me he'd under priced on a mint Lobot.
It was like I'd never been away...

Im staying away from anything RTOJ at the moment, I was a skinhead pup by then and in denial. Although I was still creaping down the shop and buying and that box is full of them. That's for later maybe.

Box has a few ANH and ESB doubles, mostly my childhood well played with stuff. Loads of RTOJ figures which I'm just not feeling at the moment. Slave 1, the Falcon, Tie Advanced, couple of troop transporters 3 x wings, well 2 now as I was able to put together that one hanging from the rafters, plus a few mini rigs.

It's gone midnight and I'm out here talking at you lot
