Imperial Commander Hook Thumbs. PBP, Kenner?

So I always thought that the Imperial Commander with the shiny head, pink face and hook thumb were PBP, but I've been checking through my loose figures recently in the hunt for variants and I saw online that they might actually be just another standard Kennner release. Is that right?

Posted a few pics of the 2 I have if anyone can shed light for me.

Both of yours do indeed appear to be PBP examples with their scarred COOs, however the presence of a bent thumb does not in and of itself guarantee that an Imperial Commander is a PBP one. There is at least one non-PBP variant that also has a bent thumb, so perhaps that is what you have seen online?

The Kenner counterpart to the PBP scarred coo figure with bent thumb was made by the Unitoys factory.

This is family II on Wolff's great coo guide with a 3 line Coo with large copyright symbol.

The Unitoys mould can be found with and without a bent thumb.

As well as differences in the coo (Unitoys being MADE IN HONG KONG over 2 line and PBP being scarred), there are differences in hair length and colour and paint applications to face and colour of black uniform.
