Blaster ID
Having looked at this as close as I can ( my eyesight is crap!) has a clearer/ sharper defined look to it has the triangular stock and the dot at the end of the barrel also pattern on stock
Floats ...checking TIG would fall into V4 ?
Can anyone confirm from the pics if they think is ok or repro?
Anyone assist ?

Re: Blaster ID
Hi Michael. This is the v4 blaster off of TIG. It was made in the Smile factory and if you’re a nerdy geek like me can be paired with any figure produced by the Smile factory.
In reality it can be paired with any of the Hong Kong coo Hammerhead and Walrus Man Cantina aliens as they were all made in the Smile factory but not the PBP versions of the same figure as these came with the v3/v7 blaster. It can also be paired with the correct Stormtrooper, but not the Death Star Commander as it wasn’t made in the Smile factory. I need to check Fett as I’m not sure on the third factory after Taiwan and Kader.
But of course most people don’t care for this level of detail and a blue black imperial blaster can go with any o these figures

Seriously thanks bud, I checked TIG as per OP and thought it was V4 as it was sharp had the dot on barrel and triangular side stock but now I know. Lot more

Where do you get your information from?
Re: Blaster ID
Such great information and I've thought for a long time that it would be great to have a list somewhere with all the various weapons pictured (each version), and which figures these could be paired up with. I know there's the odd character that's mentioned on the TIG site but I can't think of a complete list.TheJabbaWookie wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 7:38 amHi Michael. This is the v4 blaster off of TIG. If you do know of a source for this kind of info it would be great to know but if it doesn't exist maybe you're the man

Re: Blaster ID
Look out for the new variant villain website coming out later this year. It takes the work Wolff (wbobafett on TIG) started on coo variations currently found on:
https://swspaceclub.com/wbobafett/introduction-coos/
And looks to complete it. Plus it will be adding all the work currently being carried out in pairing the correct weapons mould with the correct figures, cardbacks and factories, plus in depth figure focuses helping to highlight key identifying features for specific variants.

Re: Blaster ID
PS Boba Fett can only be found on Taiwan and Kader MOCs so shouldn’t be paired with the v4 imperial Blaster off of TIG that you have here

Great to know and hopefully the Variant Villain site will be well publicised when it's released, can't wait to find out that I need to get a whole new set of vintage weapons for my figures

Good news though,
Ian

@TheJabbaWookie
Can you tell me what version of imperial blasters go with which figures, I’m not overly worried about factories or family etc.
I.E. Tri logo Fett has a V7 etc.
I’m aware of the different colours....I think...
Many thanks in advance.
