Just going through a batch of figures to sell and noticed the Amanaman Staff was different to the one I have.

The one of the left (straight stick, not so curvy 'branch'), is different to the one on the right (curvy stick, very curvy branch)

What's going on? Variants? Repro??? Help???

I've not had any experience with these repo staffs but I believe there's ones that are very similar to the originals so one of yours might be a fake, the one I had as a kid was like the one on the right with a bent handle though.

The bent staff was very common. I remember having one as a child and wondering WTF. I have seen these in others collections too. Very common. Hope this helps!

Does they both sink in water ?

Yup, both sink

That is good, original sinks and some repro floats.

When you touch them does they feel different ? some repro are also easy to break.

To me they both look original on the pictures, but pictures can trick us.

No, they both look and feel fine. Just wondering why one is straight and the other is bent?

They both look OK to me. I wonder if it was the way that they were packed in the bubbles as some come very bend and others don't.
