Re: Luke Farmboy Reference Guide, Loose variants
Having recently 'upgraded' my Raised bar China figure I notice that the figures had quite different leg colourings. Most recent addition has more of a matte finish compared to the glossy finish on the figure I already had. Just wondering had anyone else come across this before?
Side by side shot: Close up of legs, colour difference is quite noticeable. Both figures have Wolff's guide 3.0, I 2b.

Re: Luke Farmboy Reference Guide, Loose variants
That's a very nice focus Jeff, I'm after a Taiwan COO Luke FB myself.
Re: Luke Farmboy Reference Guide, Loose variants
Jeff- this looks fantastic- your focus is flying now.

Re: Luke Farmboy Reference Guide, Loose variants
Hi Jeff, another great update, thanks
I have not seen the matte finish compared to the glossy before with that coo stamp, but I think there is a lot of variants out there many of us have not seen before. Great work

Re: Luke Farmboy Reference Guide, Loose variants
Thanks for all the positive comments lads, appreciate it
Following on from the LA thread. Here's the two light pants, Hong Kong figures.
This photo shows that the Copyright stamp is slightly different/raised in comparison to the other, smoother stamp. Also, there is a noticeable gap between the Date stamping and the Hong Kong stamp on one of the figures.
Both figures have very similar face moulds and leg colour as can be seen here.
I will discuss the 2 Line, Hong Kong figures I've collected in the following post.

2 Line, Hong Kong Figure:
With the latest pick up I have six of the 2 Line Hong Kong Figures. Very noticeable difference in the leg colours on these. I'm not sure but some of this may just be degradation in the plastic over time as opposed to different 'Variants' per say. However, the legs do look quite different when pictured together. A couple of the figures have light skin paint applications.
Various Large and small Hong Kong stamp. It seems the smaller Hong Kong stamp appears on the Darker legged figures. All the stamps from Wolffs Guide 3.0, II 1a, 1b and IV 1a, 1b feature.
Group shot: The 'Paler' skin paint application is noticeable on the fourth and fifth figures, L→R. Notice the lighter neck and hands.

Re: Luke Farmboy Reference Guide, Loose variants
Dark Brown Hair 2 Line Hong Kong Figures. (US variant)
Thought l might do a little update on the Two line, Hong Kong figures I have picked up recently. The latest arrival. (Pictured here in the middle) has very definite 'lighter' Tan coloured legs.
These figures appear to have come with both Large Hong Kong stamps listed on Wolffs 3.0 Guide. A common feature on this figure seems to be "loose" head/neck joints. All three featured here have that problem. Another common feature is the rough paint application on the right hand side of the figures head.
Often referred to as the " US" variant as opposed to the lighter Brown haired, Hong Kong figure, which is commonly called the Tri logo or European variant The three figures have 2 line Hong Kong leg markings. Two have the 'Rougher' II.1b markings while one has the 'Smooth' II.1a marking

Wolffs Guide II.1b
My two, 'Rough' Leg Stamp II.1b figures. Quite noticeably different leg colour.
