Time for a new little Reference guide. This time heading back to The Return of the Jedi. Nice little variations and not too complex a collection of COO markings.

First appearing on the ROTJ 65 Back card. Also available on the Tri logo.

As mentioned, not to many COO variants. Ideal for a quick guide. I'm aware that there is a Ledy Figure available, but as always I will be highlighting the common COO figures. If i pick up a Ledy Figure i will add it, or if anyone has one that they could document and add that would be great!

H.K COO figure:

First up is a H.K marked figure. I was unsure about this, as to whether it was a H.K or a No COO. I know that sounds silly, but the markings are quite hard to see, however when compared to the two No COO figures i reckoned it was a H.K figure. The stamping is more defined than the No COO figures.

I have a mint, complete H.K figure due in, which appears to have a much more defined stamp, so I will compare markings asap.

Here's a comparison shot alongside a No COO figure (discussed further below) as ti why I classed this figure as a H.K variant.

One small difference between the two figures is on the neckline paint application. One is definitely lighter than the other as can be seen here.

Taiwan COO figure:

Currently have one of these. A couple of notable differences between this figure and the other variants. Different boot colour. Noticeable difference between the suit color and most notably the hands are molded as opposed to painted on the other figures.(All discussed in detail further below)

Notable Differences:

Boot colours:
First up, there is a difference between the boots on the Taiwan figure compared to the H.K and No COO figures. Taiwan variant shown below in the middle. I'm aware that there is a lighter brown boot Taiwan variant but this appears to be less common than the Darker boot figure shown below.

Suit Colour:
Again, a noticeable difference between the figures in their suit colours. The first picture here shows the H.K and No COO figures to have similar Suit and boots.

The second picture here, with the Taiwan figure in the foreground, shows the differences in suit. The Taiwan figure has a more ' Purple' coloured suit in comparison to the 'Brown' suit found on the H.K and No COO figures.

Molded/Painted Hands:

Probably the biggest difference between the figures is the molded or painted hands. The molded hands have only been documented on the Taiwan COO figure. Quite noticeable in hand..

This distinctive difference between the figures Mold/paint application also extends to the legs of the figures.
As a result of the different molds, the Taiwan figure has Grey molded legs with a brown paint application as opposed to a Brown leg mold with grey paint application found on the other figures. This can be seen when the variants are viewed through the pegholes in the feet.

Reference guide index updated :D

Thanks for the kind words Lars. I will have a H.K figure to document soon. Updates with accessories etc.

That will pretty much be all the common COO figures covered.

Hopefully someone can add a Lili Ledy update.
