Added a few updates to this since I last linked to it.

Only missing a few MOC images and I've added an article on diecast shop displays in 'featured articles'

Andy,

As you know, I've used it quite a few times myself already. Thanks for the hard work mate. If it wasn't for the site, I may have accidentally bought a Landspeeder! :)

Cheers buddy,
Pat

Why have I never seen this before??!! Great job mate, super little web site. I love the die cast ships and an area I wouldn't mind getting back in to.

Thanks Andy - you'll have to start listening to the Vintage Rebellion, a couple of plugs in the podcasts :)

Im very pleased to have my first guest article on the website. Justin Lea is a big die cast fan and catalogue collector, and has written a great piece on trade catalogues.

Worth reading if only to see the alternative ESB artwork for the slave 1, snow speeder and cloud car!

You are never to old to learn as the saying goes. I discovered this week that there are two different versions of the TIE fighter. The first version had pegs on the wings, and the latter had pegs on the TIE body. I'd not really looked into variations so this was a real surprise (thanks Justin!) - but something I suspect US collectors would have been aware of for a long time.

I suspect that all the Palitoy TIEs were version 2 so if any of you UK based collectors have found a version one in the UK I'd love to know

Thanks

Here's the first new article in a while. Not strictly die cast but some great insight from Colin Cantwell model maker and concept artist behind many of the ships.

I never knew the Falcon was originally lizard shaped or the Death Star Trench was an accident!

Big news in the world of die cast another box variation has been spotted by Paul (Peekaygee73)

I've now split the SW7 into A and B types

Keep those eyes peeled as this resource is very much a group effort!

Exciting news in the workd of die cast. Yet another cardback variation has been identified and one more card back for Mr Palitoy to find!

There was an error on the first issue Landspeeder with a mirror image shown of the toy (lower photo on the SW12A), that was subsequently corrected on the SW12B. There doesn't seem much difference in rarity but it's amazing that it wasn't identified before - maybe because no-one was looking?

I'll update the matrix this weekend, but essentially all foreign released Land Speeders are corrected SW12B
