Hi,
Just found some old figures in the loft. Would anyone be able to advise on why the Obi-wan Kenobi figure has a brown leg?
Many thanks.
Mark.

I would say it's degradation

Hi Mark, not so sure I’d say degradation without having a closer inspection. A punched in shot would help. I’m no Jedi Master or Sith Lord like some but have been collecting vintage items for many many years, so have a keenish eye

100% plastic degrading, several brown figures suffer from this. Common examples include Yoda and Chewie the so called "Green Limbs Variant"

Yes the green limbs Chewie is a great example of degradation
The brown leg is almost certainly degradation
Plastic degrades in a plethora of ways, I'm no expert ( Wilkie definitely is!) but I would put my money on degradation.
