Hi,
Just found some old figures in the loft. Would anyone be able to advise on why the Obi-wan Kenobi figure has a brown leg?

Many thanks.
Mark.

Hi Mark, not so sure I'd say degradation without having a closer inspection. A punched in shot would help. I'm no Jedi Master or Sith Lord like some but have been collecting vintage items for many many years, so have a keenish eye ;) R

I would say it's degradation

100% plastic degrading, several brown figures suffer from this. Common examples include Yoda and Chewie the so called "Green Limbs Variant"

Yes the green limbs Chewie is a great example of degradation

The brown leg is almost certainly degradation

Plastic degrades in a plethora of ways, I'm no expert ( Wilkie definitely is!) but I would put my money on degradation.

If I'm right it was an era at the factory when they were made and they didn't realise until they were shipped so not many in the world and are now worth a lot of money, pretty sure I saw that on the toy hunter TV show.
