Just picked up a white tusk "1" coo Walrus Man off eBay. All looks to be in nice condition but it looks as though the tusks have been touched up. The hand paint is also thin in places but think this where it wasn't applied well in the factory. Could the tusks have been done in the factory as looks a good colour match. Its touched up around the edge and not the middle as you might expect. The middle is definitely sprayed but the touch up is hand applied as its a lot thicker. Tried to photograph the difference.
Original or has someone touched the tusks up??

Cheers

that last pic doesn't look good. do you have a UV light (couple of quid off ebay)?, they are very good for highlighting paint touch ups.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Checked under the uv light and no real noticeable difference. A bit of orange reflection from the body didn't help, but no difference in the white paint. Should you clearly see any touch ups or can it be subtle?
