A few years back bought a cheap Han Solo blaster Hasbro one white and orange coloured

Sprayed it black with the intention of doing something with it, but it got forgotten about in a drawer think it was around £11 on eBay New .

Picked it back up tonight and had a play around with some paints looked at the MR versions and used as a reference put some wear/ scuffing on it with silver paint as well

Just a bit of fun

Not too bad in the end

Next job is a Fett blaster for display

Here's what I'm starting with

Bit of sanding to do, then clean with spirit, then a flat grey primer. Then flat black top coat, some weathering then seal it, see how it turns out :D also it's a Rubies so will match up with the Rubies Fett Helmet I have, def won't be any cosplay going on, I'm too short and overweight  Fatty Fett version

So drilled out the two ends of the scope and the barrel

Looks better and also allowed me to use a stake to make it easier to spray the primer and mat black afterwards
Let it dry then do some more on it.

Black coat applied now
Drying fast as it's so warm. Let this dry off now then weather and rust detail it then should be good to go

The black paint I have used is Matt, but it's turned out way to glossy

I have managed to pick up some flat black, hopefully that will cover better, before I add some weathering, have a bash tomorrow.

Happier with this now it's had flat black applied, has a duller look, will enjoy weathering and rusting it now.

Silver added faint dabs then a very fine short burst spray of the flat black from a distance.

Just need some burnt sienna acrylic to add a little rust detail now.

Used burnt sienna ( just normal acrylic that I have) for rust effect and a very slight touch of cobalt blue for oxidisation effect pretty happy with it for display now :)
