How Do You Rank The SW Movies Now?

So now that Episode VIII: The Last Jedi has been released, I thought it would be a nice idea to see where the movies rank according to the members of the SWFUK. Note, as good as it is, I have not included Rogue One for obvious reasons.

Regarding the ranking, personally, I will wait until I have seen the latest installment at least one more time - I saw it earlier yesterday evening as it was released earlier over here. I liked it but really need to see it again to digest and give an accurate order...but I believe my first three are well set :D
 
Oh I must have misunderstood something, I thought the vote was for which movie we think was the best, second, third etc. etc. so I choose all 8 :lol:

I would have said

The best from top

1. Episode 5
2. Episode 4
3. Episode 6
4. Rogue one if we may have used it :lol:
5. Episode 7
6. Episode 8
7. Episode 3
8. Episode 2
9. Episode 1

As the main epic saga is a nine part affair, Rogue One is regarded as an anthology film, a standalone movie.

Ah, I get it... I was confused by the title of the thread "How Do You Rank The SW Movies Now?" as opposed to "How do you rank the 8 SW movies from the three trilogies now?"

You surely understand the confusion... The actual title of Rogue One is Rogue One a Star Wars Story so it seems a fair question for my self and Scott to have raised.

The vote option was a mistake, I've just removed it as what Lars has done, i.e. a ranking order, obviously works best. If we follow that pattern, thread should work better.

After one viewing of TLJ I'm thinking my order is something like this... liable to change though as I like or get irritated by parts after a few more viewings:

The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars
Rogue One
Return of the Jedi
The Last Jedi
The Phantom Menace
The Force Awakens

Then a fair sized gap to:
Revenge of the Sith

And very comfortably in last place... so far behind the others it can only be seen with a telescope:
The Attack of The Clones
