I bought it on blu-ray today and saw it for the first time today, I am glad that I did not use money to go to the cinema to see it last year. The movie was maybe the best in this trilogy, but this trilogy is the 3 worst star wars movies I have ever seen. How the **** can disney **** it so much up when Solo and Rogue One was much better movies, ok solo could also be better but Rogue One was really great even better than episode 1, 2 and 3.
We did go to the cinema to see it and I was just ok with the film. Not terrible. Not amazing. Watched it again last night on Disney and I kinda like it. Of course there are loads of stupid parts but not too bad.
I admit to rolling my eyes at the lesbian kiss. General Hooks as a spy. Really? Richard E Grant should have played the Hooks character all along. The Emperor and Kylo Ren were pretty bad ass. Not a bad send off for Carrie Fisher.
All in all I did think it was better than TPM
