Hi all, i have recently cleared my father inlaws loft and had no idea of the amount of star wars figures accesories, games and other bits he had up in there i asked what he wanted to do with it all which his reply was "i have no use for them" so im asking if anybody on here would be able to help in anyway as to what he has, im in the process of cleaning it all up of dust at the minute but seems never ending, i have no idea what the right way of selling this would be either seperatley (long process) or as a job lot??? Any help would be very much appreciated, i can post pictures of everything once ive cleaned it all up so people will have a better idea if they can help. Thank you

Wow exciting stuff, would be great for you to put some pictures on here and I'm sure you will get plenty of help with valuations. As for selling it, the easy way is to sell it in one job lot but you want get the full value. You could break it up into smaller lots and you will get a bit more or you sell it individually, which will get you the most money.

Selling on here is free and easy, I'm sure some of the stuff will sell before you list it.

Welcome to the forum and I look forward to seeing your find. :)

Thank you for replying, i am hopefully going to get a few pictures of part of this collection later on today, i would be more than happy if somebody within this forum would like to add it to their own collection, after looking at most of it, it looks as though its mostly from the 1999 year but 99% is still packaged and in good condition, not sure if this is a desirable year for collectors hopefully it will make someone happy to have cheers.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to have a look and reply, obviously i have no idea what my father inlaw actually has here so the valuation you gave was suprising (in a good sense) the pictures only show roughly half of what is here there are allsorts of larger boxs and also smaller ones a few things i cant even find any info on the internet about so for you to reply with any sort of number to give us a rough idea we are very grateful thank you.

This is what's considered modern amongst collectors, it doesn't have that much value. This is mainly a Vintage collecting forum, much older toys from 1977 - 1985. If you are on facebook I would advise joining one of the modern collecting groups, you may have more luck there. I think you'll struggle to sell as a lot unless you let it go very cheap to a dealer or something. If you have time sell individually on Ebay or facebook, look at already sold items to get an idea on price.
