Valuation request: Palitoy card backs

Hi, looking for some price guidance on these please. eBay searches are inconclusive with the only Han Bespin an offerless card and selling for £49 BIN which I thought was a bit in the high side; and the others being a small sample size so hoping someone with a bit of knowledge might chime in please.

The Han has some pencil mark ticks on back erased out but leaving impression. R2 is fine. Yoda is missing name plate and sliced to side.

It's really hard to value cardbacks as they go for all sorts of prices, Palitoy are obviously the ones that seem to command the better prices, however I have picked up a decent 12 back Pali card for £8 and then another for £28

I think card backs more than ever rely on what someone is prepared to pay

Different spin for me as I want cardbacks that have the central couloirs backpanel in good shape, as I want for reseals for my collection, whereas others want for a specific cardback run and are not too bothered about litho tears and nameplates missing.

For example Given my specific requirements when buying a card back I would want the Yoda you have as opposed to the R2 ( as the Yoda would be a much better card to use for a reseal) however someone wanting a 12 back Pali run of cardbacks would go for the R2

My advice if you go eBay route would be put them up for what your happy with, and see if they go, if not then it's a case of seeing what they achieve

Is the reseal route not appealing to you? Great fun tracking down components and putting them together to display for your own collection, it certainly gives me a buzz

Mike's right, the prices vary massively. I've been collecting cardbacks for a while now so have seen a lot of sales and prices. Some people asking £50+ for Palitoy 12's and then sometimes they go for a tenner. Like Mocs character can affect it, Fett tax, Luke FB etc. Condition is important imo, holes, creases and damage hurt them. Bubble seals attached fetch more. I'd say for a rough idea.

Han about £10 - 20
R2 £20 - 40
Yoda £5 - 10
