Hi,
Just wanted to introduce myself, I am new to the forum so this is my first post. I have bought and sold a few Star Wars collectables in the past and always like to learn about the things I purchace. Thanks for taking the time to have a look at my post and if there are pictures required of anything I might have missed, let me know and I will post.

All the best

Very nice, I would consider getting it graded, Around the £4000 mark I would say.

Hello Chris, sorry to inform you that this does not look like an original carded vc Jawa :( . Judging by the combination of feet, hands and face that Jawa is from the ROTJ era, most likely a no coo version. The cape is definitly a red one from an Obi figure. The blaster is not supposed to be in his hand but loose inside the blister. The blister corners are too square and the flange looks like it is the wrong size and placed too high like it would when you stick a repro vc Jawa blister on a cloth cape card.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, as I said I am no expert but thought it was worth doing the research on this, I know you have pointed a few things out on this which looking at some graded originals do stand out, I cant see any versions of the Australian red cape anywhere do you know of any examples? It does look like it has age so I wouldn't think it was a recent Custom Job but if it is I would presume it was a replica card as I't doesent show any signs of being opened as you would get sticking a new bubble on to a cloth cape card. Would you say it's not worth getting checked out? Also if this is a custom or vintage custom do they still have value?

Thanks again for your advice.

I would say this is a replica card. The punch tab does not match any of the known tabs for the three factories (Kader, Unitoy and Smile) to have produced a vinyl cape Jawa and fits the Euro tab consistently found on modern reproductions. Also there are only 2 white stars below the white price box top left when there should be 3. This coupled with the fact both the cape and blaster are clearly wrong for a Kenner VCJ scream fake to me. Isn't that a UK Woolworths price sticker so unlikely to be a TOLTOYs.

Thanks all for the feedback, I suppose it was always a long shot but I have learned a lot with the research.

All the best.
