Hello all
New member so apologies if I’ve made any errors.
Redundancy is forcing sale of one of my favourite pieces but I have no idea how to value it so hoping you can help
Please see attached pics and measurements below but it has 30 man hours in it (not me) and I absolutely love it.
Measurements:
L - 12 inches
W - 9 inches
H - 8 inches
Weight in excess of 3 kg (too heavy for my kitchen scales)

Welcome to the site and sorry to hear about your job loss.
It's tough with one of a kind pieces, with nothing else to compare it to It's a bit like plucking a figure out of the air, did you originally buy it or was it given to you?

Hi, thanks for the response
I paid £100 a while ago and thought I’d got a bargain at that price but I’m a complete novice if I’m honest.
I’ve popped it on eBay for £200 but no offers yet
Thanks again
Tony

Re: Valuation: Custom, steel, hand made tie interceptor sculpture
No idea on value but I can honestly tell you the amount of man/woman hours put into that would exceed well over £100, the weld spots arnt as nice as the hand fitting of all the slotted parts but its still very well done. I'm wondering if an old MDF kit build was used as a template and transferred over to steel, I can easily see this being someones college engineering project...
Good luck with selling it I'm sure someone would appreciate it for what it is.

Nice item and welcome, sorry about your situation. Really hope you get a good price for it, I have no idea on value.
