Forum Figure of the Year 2019 - Round 1 - Group M
The final four groups will be up today for the first round stage so if your favourite figure hasn't been up yet will be up shortly.
Group M is a great group. R2-D2 is such an iconic and for me the best of the R2 figures, he reached the quarter finals back in 2017 which is his best to date and has only fallen once at the group stage so has good pedigree for this round.
Walrus Man has always been a favourite of mine but has so far never cleared the group stages, he's in a tough group here so you fear he may fall once again. Sy Snootles and Rebel Commander have also never cleared the opening round either so he's not in unfamiliar company.
Bossk has only gotten out the group stage in 2017 and 2018 but fell at the first knockout, he'll be looking to progress here and hope to put that bad statistic to bed.
But for the most successful figure in the group, AT-AT Driver knows he will need to be at his best. He has only failed once in 2017 to not get out the group stage and has had two visits to the quarter finals.

Difficult choices especially as I have a soft spot for Snootles but I can't fit her in my three
AT-AT Driver - best of the bunch here, awesome figure
R2 - It's R2
Walrus Man - Best coloured figure going, love all the cantina aliens

Then let me make room for Sy, as I like her too
My choices: R2, Bossk and the lady with the long mouth!

R2, Bum Face and Lizard Lips. The At At Driver Card Back is great but can’t understand the fuss about the figure
Re: Forum Figure of the Year 2019 - Round 1 - Group M
I too can’t understand the fuss about the AT AT driver, cardback is amazing, the figure is average at best...
R2 is a given.
Bossk and Bum face due to the wild colours!

At-At driver, Rebel commander and Sy Snootles. The driver won many battles with me and my at-at in the eighties, sy snootles was a cool figure and the commander just beats the rest as I had none of the rest as a child so had to pick one.

You weren't on any mercy mission this time, Your Highness.

Sometimes when I leave the house in the mornings to go to work, I look down and see a strange looking thing on the floor.
I can never tell if it's a fox shit, or if it's a vintage Bossk figure.
That's my view.
R2 all the way.

I went with Bossk last year - going for the At At Driver this time jsut because his cardback is so cool.

R2 for me, again such a classic figure from the whole range.
