Forum Figure of the Year 2020 - Semi Final - Match 1

Well we've reached the semi final stage of the competition and all previous Champions and runners up have been eliminated. A new name will be on the trophy come Monday next week.

The opening match in the final four pitches Yoda who has dominated his matches, with victories over Luke Skywalker, Luke Jedi knight and Zuckuss in the knockout stages. Although the figures he's eliminated haven't had much success outside of Luke Skywalker in the past, he has dealt with them in a comfortable manner.

R5D4 returns to the semi final line up for the first time since 2014, her surprise victory over Biker Scout in the quarter finals sets her up well for this head to head. Not only that but in the 3rd round she eliminated Hoth Stormie who has been the most successful and consistent figure ever in this competition even though never winning it.

Perhaps overlooking R5 could be a mistake and thinking that Yoda is going to win easily. The game is on.
