2016 champion, Emperor's Royal Guard, goes into a tough knockout against Luke Jedi. Although ERG won in 2016, on three other occasions it has fallen at this stage including 2020 when it lost out to IG-88. Luke Jedi has always flattered to deceive, having always cleared the group stages he's gone on to fall at the second round in 2015, 16, 18 and 19, only reaching the quarter finals once in 2014. So on paper and history this looks like it could be a close match up.

In 2020 the pair of them ended up in the same group and both came through with Luke Jedi topping the group by 2 votes. In 2016 they met at this round and it was a one sided affair as ERG battered Luke Jedi by 11 votes! So two previous meetings really doesn't separate them either.

Quite surprised just how easily Luke Jedi beat the 2016 champion. 13 votes was wider than @lejackal gap in his front teeth, and that is wiiiidddddeeeeee!
