Help needed re which light saber to buy

Hi all, I'm in need of some help from those more clued up than me... I wanted to get my partner a darth maul light saber for Xmas, pretty straight forward I thought, just buy 2 force fx ones, job done! Have now found he already has a master replica one so I don't know if I should search ebay etc for another MR to go with what he has, it may be aged different etc and therefore not look quite right when put together? Or stick with orig plan of getting 2 new force fx ones. It seems 2 new ones costs about the same as a master replica but if I get the new ones he has the option of selling or swapping the MR for something else??? What would you guys prefer to have?

Great idea for a xmas gift

My daughter has a MR Maul fx saber, an original and as you mentioned it's aged in the time she's owned it (top half of the blade is yellow now) so if you were buying a second hand one you would need to try and get one similar to the original so they look good together.

1st question - do you know anyone going to Disney World on holiday, my daughter has just came back with their version on Darth Mauls fx saber - they are all metal with removable blades and cost $139 each and we are really impressed with them.

DB id be interested in seeing one of those, they are an all metal hilt?

Here you go mate - she went a bit daft but I can't blame her. The really are cool - all metal and feel great. Looks great as display pieces or you can pop in a blade and fire them up. The boxes are nice as well.

The Maul and Ventress both come with a coupler in the box so you can join them if you want.

Ooooo those do look nice....hmmmmmmm, guess ill have to bribe someone to pick one up for me some time :x
