Hi !

A few weeks ago, I initiated a thread regarding the Disney/SW mashup action figures such as Mickey/Luke Skywalker and appreciated a lot the answer some of you kindly gave me --> https://starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=40519&sid=5cac011354b526d9a5d2599e9a8b7ebb

In the meantime, I've discovered the Tamashii Nations SW action figures ! These are Star Wars versions of traditional japanese archetypes, I suppose. For instance, a real peculiar C3PO ! Take a look --> https://www.tamashiinations.fr/star-wars/322-star-wars-c-3po-karakuri-movie-realization.html

Also : a Samuraï Darth Vader --> https://www.tamashiinations.fr/star-wars/193-star-wars-samurai-darth-vader-movie-realization.html

Any piece of information regarding these figures will be much appreciated, especially the most intringuing of them : the C3PO "Karakuri". I've done some research, and found out that "Karakuri" refers to something mechanical, also to a traditional mechanical puppet from old times. Do you know more about it ? You will see by yourself that the droïd wears a piece of fabric, also a kind of flask (what's in there is beyond my understanding.). I suppose it refers to a character that japanese know...

And maybe YOU know ! Thanks in advance :)

I've never seen these before, igabiva to me they look like Japanese Samurai figures with Star Wars mixed in.
Absolutely love the ERG one.
Have you found a distributor for these, are they current figures?
Cheers.
