WTB: Palitoy Jedi MOCs with Trilogo Bubbles

Post by edd_jedi »

As I'm now making good progress on this run, it's time for some help. For the last couple of years I've been working on a run of Palitoy ROTJ cards (45 or 65 backs) with large trilogo style bubbles (or in the case of some large/small figures eg Gamorrean Guard or R5-D4, the square based bubbles used on trilogo cards.) Like this:

I do not believe every figure can be found with this card/bubble combination. Here are the ones I have confirmed exist from photos or used cardbacks which I am still looking for:

Star Wars
Ben Kenobi
Death Star Droid
Luke X-Wing
R5-D4

ESB
Cloud Car Pilot (trilogo hybrid)
FX-7
Rebel Commander
Rebel Soldier

Jedi
Gamorrean Guard
Weequay

These are the ones I now own, I will continue to update this list to help build a database of which ones exist.

Star Wars
Boba Fett
Chewbacca
Darth Vader
Greedo (trilogo hybrid)
Hammerhead (trilogo hybrid)
Han Solo
Luke Skywalker
Snaggletooth (trilogo hybrid)
Stormtrooper
Walrusman

ESB
AT-AT Commander
AT-AT Driver
Black Bespin Guard (trilogo hybrid)
Bossk
C-3PO (Removable Limbs)
Dengar
Han Bespin
Han Hoth
Hoth Stormtrooper
Imperial Commander
Lando Calrissian
Leia Hoth
Luke Bespin
Luke Hoth
White Bespin Guard (trilogo hybrid)

Jedi
Bib Fortuna
Biker Scout
Emperor's Royal Guard
General Madine
Lando Skiff
Logray
Rebel Commando
Ree-Yees
Squid Head

And finally, these are the ones I have yet to find evidence of existing on a Palitoy 45/65 back card with a trilogo bubble, so if anyone sees any of these (either MOC or a cardback) with a square base trilogo bubble, please let me know (preferably with a photo.)

Star Wars
Death Squad Commander
Jawa
Leia Organa
Power Droid
Tusken Raider

ESB
2-1B
4-Lom
IG-88
Leia Bespin
Lobot
R2 Sensorscope
TIE Pilot*
Yoda
Zuckuss

Jedi
Admiral Ackbar
Chief Chirpa
Klaatu
Leia Boushh
Luke Jedi
Nien Nunb*

* may not exist on Palitoy 45/65 back

So if you either see any for sale or just find one that isn't on my list, please let me know. Thanks :)

TIE Fighter Pilot defiantly does not exist, sorry mate.

If one did surface- and it had a trilogo bubble....that would be an epic find.

Will do, the RC is quite common, I’ve seen a few.

I think it's possible, if you look at my lists it seems Empire figures are the most plentiful. And until the Lando I just got turned up this week, I hadn't seen one for 2 years.

Doesn't exist mate- there's no Palitoy Jedi TFP. That's why there are so many Kenner cards with white palitoy stickers.

You’re almost certainly right, but after the Palitoy VCJ and Trilogo Y Wing, it’s never impossible :)
