Hey guys

Promoting my new site, it is in its infancy at the mo. Basically a lighthearted look at old toys, figures, lego, retro video games and weird candy. Vintage Star wars will be a deffinate appearence but havent got there yet!

Cool I would love to do something like that! I am a disaster on the web. I used to love the old Tonka toys if people list toys can you put them up on your site?

Mate, I am awful with the web. I am of the generation that should be really tech savvy, but unfortunately growing up we didnt get internet until I was 17 and I was barely allowed on the computer at home as my Mother was a technophobe and was convinced It would get viruses on it or break it. Wordpress is really easy to use though I did lose my temper with it a few times to start with.
Yeah I would cover anything really as long as I can find the toys fairly cheap and people would remember playing with or seeing them as a kid. I have soooo many things to post at the moment though, been delayed a bit with work, having to go to the hospital and other stuff. My next post will be a look at the first twelve Star Wars figures, which I am halfway through writing now!

So my Halloween Countdown begins! First day is pretty boring, just what actual decent spooky stuff can be found in pound shops! But over the next 13 days (or nights) I will be looking at some more retro things.

Really great site, mate. Just lost half and hour looking at some toys that passed me by entirely. Great to see some old toys reviewed! Those monster pocket thigns would go down a storm in today's market!

Thank you so much. I haven't had a great deal of feedback since I started the site up a couple of months back, so it's nice to hear you enjoyed looking at a few things! I struggle between keeping stuff informative and not rambling, but being entertaining as well. Hopefully I will get the balance eventually!

I never really thought about it! Certainly could be, though dunno what I would do. 12 Items I got for Christmas and loved?

Could do. Or could get something each day leading up to Christmas that you used to get as a kid. Doesn't have to be a toy! I know some of the things that used to get me all excited as a kid were daft things like the TV Times Christmas edition with all the films in, or those crap paper advent calendars that just had pictures (also known as "advent calendars") or perhaps the Christmas Argos catalogue. All quality Christmas indicators! Ooooooh..... you could do a "then and now" kind of thing from the year of your favourite Christmas! A TV times from then, and one from now, etc. Should be easier for you than most of us old bastards here :D

Quick update, Saturdays are now Star Wars Saturdays where I look at Star Wars stuff! First post is a vomiting Jabba the Hutt toy. Some vintage will feature in the near future!

My Thirteen Day Halloween Countdown begins today! Bit of a boring start, but will get on to more spooky and more vintage things as time goes on, as well as looking at some spooky retro computer games!
