Re: Started a blog www.retrotoyinfo.co.uk. New post on the ROTJ Imperial Shuttle
Hi All,
I created a new post on the 1984 Imperial Shuttle vehicle at www.retrotoyinfo.co.uk. I love this toy. The post took me a while as I wanted to reference as many catalogs as possible, as well as explain all the International versions. The original Kenner TV advert is viewable too.

Thanks for the comments. Check out my new post on the Star Wars vintage diecast vehicles.
I was going to include the ESB diecast vehicles, but the post kept growing. I will cover those in a future post.

Re: Started a blog www.retrotoyinfo.co.uk
It's not Star Wars but just made a post on my website www.retrotoyinfo.co.uk about the toys made based on Disney's Tron movie.
TOMY was very interested to become the licensee for the Tron toys to test the market after the success of Kenner's Star Wars 3 3/4" figures. The Tron figures are on the same basic scale, but the figures stood about 4" tall. TOMY produced only four figures and two light cycle toys, a very small range but they have gained a certain cult following.

I'm going to move this thread to the more appropriate 'Links' section now.

Interestingly, they also released a Tomytronic 3D electronic handheld game ( Sky Attack ) which seemed to be heavily influenced by a mix of Tron and also Star Wars in terms of the ship/vehicle designs in the game.retrotoyinfo wrote:It's not Star Wars but just made a post on my website http://www.retrotoyinfo.co.uk about the toys made based on Disney's Tron movie.

You don't own your toys, you only borrow them until you sell them or die!
