Just a heads up- the ebay seller allgoodthings2011 is a 100% scam artist.
Listing custom/fake carded figures as original. When he was told he ended the auctions and then relisted them with slightly vaguer wording so as to cover himself legally but still does not describe as custom/fake. Ifact, very much still attempting to make it sound original and vintage.

Anyway here's one he's doing now. This is the relisted version with the clever wording. The first listing of this said right out - "original, vintage, never removed from the package" listed as BuyItNow for £110. Shameless!

He knows full well what he's doing.

I'm sure these are all fakes so just be careful if anyone was watching.

Didn't we used to have an 'ebay cunts' thread? That's where he belongs.

Edit: oh wait, it's ebay cocks.

Not an ebay scammer but forum based- be very careful of a new guy trying to buy figures. He has several different names-

benny_hill
Stu
Mr Mego
possibly MayhewJR (TBC)

He is posing as a newbie buying beaters, however he is a scammer and has ****ed over a well respected member of the community.

Anyone heard of 'out-of-stock-toys'?

Just got duped by him stating it was a genuine VC Jawa. We did a deal off ebay but went through paypal and he sent m,e an unitemised invoice. There are several emails about this deal.

I sent him a message just now stating it's coming right back and await a full refund as it's a fake.

Colours good but way too stiff and holes too perfect along with NO pattern.

Well pissed off!!

Thanks Liam.

Just had a reply which is a kinda good sign he's not running away. But he's adamant he's had it since he was a kid but I've explained everything about them to him and he seems hurt and offended by what I say.

Still waiting to see if he's going to accpet my return and refund me. :(

I hope that this who sold this one right here is another Mr Mego ... can anyone confirm?

Cause I bought this from him ... :( Hope they are really vintage! They haven't arrived until now, but since they come from the US I'm not worried. At the moment that is ...

Another scam artist, this is so obvious if you know a thing or two about baggies, but someone just getting in to collecting them could be taken for an expensive ride -

http://www.ebay.com/itm/vintage-star-wars-figure-C3PO-C-3PO-DROID-RARE-White-label-kenner-baggie-afa-mip-/120800717986?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c2048aca2#ht_500wt_1288

The white print baggies are SW-a style & only came with the first figures, so WTF is a removable limb 3P0 doing it it??, & judging by the price tag the seller knows what they are up to

As a follow up to my enquiry: That Mr Mego I've dealt with on eBay is no scammer. In fact dealing with him is highly recommended.

Hey Fella's, A follow up from my post in the Value Request section. Ebay name department_of_house

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/150710952791?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

This bloke's little scam is listing a vintage boxed B-wing complete with a pic of a vintage box for a price you have to jump at. He then avoids the question regarding the item being the same as the picture in the listing.

I asked him several times and he kept saying stuff like yes the box has not been opened thanks for your payment. Finally I demanded he tell me if it is the vintage or the modern version to which he finally replied it was the modern. SCAMMER!

Took 7 days to get my refund and it finally came through today.

Block him and certainly don't buy from him, he has sold a fair amount of vintage so beware.

I also did some history checking and found he has sold this exact same item 3 times now, so either two other people have been dudded or they clued on and went through the same BS I did.
