Now this is a Thread I am loving.

Laurence some great items you have, I thought you sold up your Amanaman run actually. Good to see you kept some of the items.

Love the Period POTF Sign off sheets from Tom, I got a 3PO one off his first lot he sold behind closed doors.

The Spanish Comic 3po show is a bootleg I believe, There is a rare white one known, only ever seen one of them, had a few of us stumped as no one had seen it before and sold on ebay I believe. You can track down most of them in various colours and are on ebay quite frequently.

Now where to start with rare items :D

How about a Rare C-3PO Conceptual Vintage Can holder. Its a one of a kind Piece. Diet Pepsi can use and one will notice it has Cincinnati Ohio location on it, the same area where the old Kenner address was.

C-3PO's Hands have been melted at the wrists and manipulated so they fit around the holder bit of the Can.

This is awesome ! Please tell me you use it everyday

This piece is the production budget for ROTJ.

The following is the description of the item when it was for sale a few years back.

A binder containing the production budget from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Housed in a blue plastic three-ring binder, this binder consists of 140 mimeographed typescript pages of accounting information from the production. Each typed page outlines the production expenses across a grid with columns for account number (recipient), their rates, the amounts per location (Elstree Studios, ILM, etc.) and the total amounts at the far right. At the back of the binder is a single page memo outlining the computer key codes attributed to the film production accounts. The pages show minor wear due to production use and age; however the item remains in fine condition. Dimensions: 25 cm x 30 cm x 4 cm (10" x 11 ¾" x 1 ½")

Production budget

ROTJ Production Budget.jpg

Front page with revised total cost.

ROTJ Production Budget Total.jpg

My favourite page being the wardrobe budget. IRG's instead of ERG's, Scooter Troopers, Pig Guard and only 3 of them.

ROTJ Production Budget Costumes.jpg

Love this Rotj production binder Laurence, really cool item, haven't seen you post this one anywhere before.

Love all your unique items including the Champagne and all the architect stuff for the Palitoy location.

These items are pretty rare. So rare they are the only ones in the world

Vintage 12 inch C-3PO Rusted non vac hand painted and sprayed first shot Prototype. The paint job on this is really outstanding, it can only truly be appreciated in person.

Second one is a first shot prototype. The designer who made this was tasked to see if it was possible to articulate the limbs just the The vintage Action man figures. It has been cut at the wrists and elbows and both hands are missing. There's some tape on the arms also helping to hold them together. It's in a custom display case but you can take the Arms off as you can see in the pictures.

I also have a first shot that was never fully assembled and painted like the final released version. This came direct from one the head designers who was involved in the Toys right from the start.

Cheers

Vince

This isn't Star Wars, but super cool nonetheless.

This is a WWF Hasbro Scott Steiner 2UP head sculpt. Hand-painted and made of resin. The first stage was creating a WWF head from wax, which was carved to be twice the size of the actual final product. Then moulds were produced from the wax sculpts, and the resin poured into the moulds. This head was then painted so they could figure out what paint colours to use for the figure. This is the only known Scott Steiner 2UP head sculpt in existence.

Wow some great pieces here, those 3PO's are awesome, when I see what's being shared here it makes me realise the items I have that I thought were rare, are not!

Well they're rare to your average collector but not rare!

Vintage C-3PO Early Sample Prototype Figure Case.

Differences from Produced the Vertical Eye lines are missing and the top middle part of the head is missing.
There is no COO and there is an extra piece of plastic on the back, kind of nib piece of plastic which was probably used to dip the case in gold.
Inside the case is pretty cool and has both dull gold and shiny gold, unlike the produced piece.

8X10 C-3PO Case Transparency. This is the actual one that was used to create the Packing for every single produced case.

The Transparency is cool as the case used is a Vintage Hard Copy which is full of prototype figures in first shot, hardcopy and photo samples form may be some released figures in there also.

C-3PO Packing proof sheet, I have included some close up's of the packing which you can match up to the 8x10 transparency above.

Vintage C-3PO Circus World exclusive with two Moc's attached.
