Wow Ian, it could have tricked me. Looks like a moc, what a beauty. But then again I am not an expert in moc and bubbles

Thanks for sharing it with all of us 8)

Thanks Lars.
No it's not a re seal.
It's absolutely immaculate other than the bubble being yellow.
That's the price we pay collecting Kenner ROTJ MOCs!

Great stuff apack! Well done for keeping that cardback. It may only be a partial one, but it still displays well and I've always liked the Death Star Droid card picture. Thanks for sharing :)

OK, here's mine. The 'MOC' is another reseal, I'm afraid, but one I'm happy with.

As for the loose, I always find the vac-metalized figures are quite difficult to photograph well (or maybe I'm just a crap photographer! ), so I have included a couple of shots of the front and back of them to try to show them as well as possible.

I have four variants; a shiny and a dull finish 'nipple' chested, 'buttonless' arm variant, and a shiny and dull finish no 'nipple', button-armed variant. I'm still not 100% convinced the dull finish 'variants' aren't just how shiny ones end up looking after they've been played with, but then again, the difference in the finishes, both on the front and back of the figures does seem pretty uniform, so who knows...? And for those struggling to tell the difference, the shiny ones are at each end!

Lastly, god knows what happened to Kenner's quality control with the black paint on the poor old Death Star Droid, but it can be really, REALLY tough to find one with perfect paint, even carded. Perhaps the vac-metalised surface didn't accept the paint very well? :?

Another fantastic re seal, and you should be pleased with it, really nice!
And thanks for the great explanation of the varients for us who are ignorant to this part of the hobby...or is it just me!
I wondered what on earth was a "nipple chested" one  and still couldn't see what on earth you were on anout :? until the pictures at the end, and for that I thank you.
And I think that your right about the black paint not adhering to the silver vac metal surface.

Had no idea that so many of you had DSDs. Really good variety here 8)
I'm not a fan of the figure really it's the card art that does it for me.
Along with the Power Droid it's the colours and vibrancy that appeals to me.

Yes, although the differences between the DSD's do genuinely make them variants, let's face it, they're pretty hard to spot! It's hardly blue and red Snaggletooth, but you know me; I do like a variant, even if the differences are only small!

And I absolutely agree with you about the card art being appealing. Kenner really did a great job of making the cards stand out on the toy shelves and catch children's (and adults'! ) eyes. I think most of their choices for the card art were top notch, with only the occasional head-scratcher like the original artwork present on Walrus Man and Anakin's cardbacks, rather than photos of the characters or stills from the films.
