I'm off to Los Angeles next week for a holiday but when I'm not hanging out with Slash on sunset strip I'm keen to do a bit of vintage shopping. Does anyone know of any decent shops in the area?

Their's one on Hollywood boulevard some where about half way down I think. Had a phew bits including a ROTJ Gam Guard but that was about 4 years ago. I remember their being a shop in Santa Monica as well, but that was even longer ago and hard to say where exactly. They had an Imperial Gunner on POTF card for $100, I was at the end of a long trip so didn't have any money left!

Have a great time anyway and happy hunting.

Thanks for the replies chaps, I'm going to Hollywood Boulevard and the Chinese theatre so will keep my eye out there. I'm staying near Santa Monica too so I'll let you know how I get on. Any other suggestions welcome!

Bit of both, going up to the redwood park where they filmed Endor.
I had a look at popping in to see Sansweets ranch but he charges $75 entry!

That's a bit exspensive. How can he justify that price?

That's a hell of a drive!
As for Sandsweet justifying $75, I suppose he doesn't have too.
If you have time I would recommend Santa Barbara, Morro Bay and the Monterrey Bay Area.
Not for Star Wars of course just because they are great places to stop.
Oh and of course not forgetting San Fran. one of my favourite places.
Have a great time! :D
