This is a major watch out post guys.

As some of you may or may not know there is a seller, chriss365 responsible for the flood of reproduction figures on the market at the moment. Figures include Yak Face, Luke Stormtrooper, Han Stormtrooper and Blue Snaggletooth to name a few. What makes these figures different to previous reproductions is that they are shot from moulds and are fully articulated. Currently they can be identified from originals by the fact that there are no COO markings, otherwise they are practically indistinguishable in photos for many collectors especially newbies to the hobby.

Chris sells his figures on eBay and through his Facebook group clearly marked as repros. However, he is a known scammer and has been inside for counterfeit goods in the past. He is also one of the known sources for the so called "Saltburn" Repro which includes the Princess Leia Blasters, Rebel, Imperial and Endor Blasters and the single Telescoping and Luke Lightsabers. He is also a massive c**t and doesn't give a s**t about the hobby he is ruining.

Here is an example of one of his figures currently for sale on eBay. You can click on his other items for sale to get an idea of what he is selling. There are also plans for other hard to find expensive to buy figures such as R2-D2 pop-up lightsaber, with the seller aware enough to consider avoiding digital printing and to make the labels off white:

If this wasn't already a big enough issue unscrupulous sellers have begun selling his reproduction items as originals at original prices. Here is an example of a reproduction Yak Face recently sold at £179.99 or best offer.

Don't get caught out guys. It's imperative you do your homework and if you have any doubts just ask a few questions on this forum. There's loads of us happy to help.

Oh and add these two c**ts to your eBay ban list:

Thanks for the info, the 2nd seller ****ing **** hope the buyer can get a refund or something. Remember Retro Blasting and Toy Polloi reviewing these. The Han Solo is okish as it was never released but the others is uncalled. Be fake Droid and Ewok figures next.

This is very grim news indeed. He may be leaving the COO's off at present (or at least on those he's selling under that particular user name), but what's to stop him or someone else like him from making a run of figures that also included the 'correct' COO?

Worse to come. The original seller of the repro items is looking to add CoO markings to the figures. Unclear currently if these will mimic the original dates or be stamped with a modern date.
Sorry, your post appeared whilst I was typing my last one.
