lots of great stuff added to the thread recently, just got these in myself, very impressed, don't even mind the flimsy cardbacks, i'll get some starcases for them

The paper inserts are not to visible either which is good, shame they are there at all but gotta follow rules and regs i suppose :D

I picked up these as well and agree with what you've written. The end of the day these are based on the vintage ones but aren't the same and as i have a reseal set these fit in nicely as something similar but different that i quite like. I don't even mind the massive sticker for some reason although i could have done without the paper sheet but it wasn't a deal breaker in the end for me.

Oddly I'm more looking forward to the other six if they ever get released....it might be as I have more Jumbo versions of the other 6 so want to display these with em.

I thought the rumor for the next wave of Retro figures was ESB focused to fit the 40th anniversary next year:

Han Hoth
Luke Bespin
Lando
Yoda
Boba Fett
Bossk
R2D2 Sensor Scope & C3PO Removable Limbs in a special set (similar to Tarkin from wave 1)

A few modern bits for me.
Firstly two of the five twin packs with bonus pit droid.

And a Freeze Frame viewer.
The viewer is still sealed as are the two freeze frames that came with the viewer and they are still taped to the card insert.
Complete with instructions and in a good condition mailer.

Love the Pit Droid pair - the Maul one is great.

Trouble is, won't you feel compelled to get all of them, i.e. each version of the pit droid for each figure :)

I know if i buy one i will need all of them, so holding off - but they are very cool

I know what you mean, but when it comes to modern I do tend to stick to my guns, and that means one of each figure only.
But, I may only buy the rest with the Pit Droid in one colour...maybe?

Your Ep1 collection is epic by the way!

I hadn't heard that rumour, shame we don't get the next 6 in the first twelve, but heres hoping they do more in the series, I think these first 6 have been popular enough

That would be a shame not to have the final 6 but this line-up sounds good so maybe another purchase :D

Some fantastic acquisitions well done, I must admit looking over what was available for Ep1 the toy line itself really was diverse, especially when it comes to vehicles, the current offerings are poor in comparison. A boxed Maul and speeder is all I have left, can still remember picking it up after going to see the film itself.
