Here is my figure and card Back contribution. Considered him as a small side focus collection, alongside r2, Leia Organa and the Jawa, before settling on Yoda.

There are some great examples in there and although the picture isn't great there's one or two Chewie's here

Great choice Lars.
Here are my tributes to the big guy.
No Palitoy's I'm afraid.

I am a little late in this thread, but better late than never

And what a great tribute for the thread, no problem that they are not palitoy. I guess not many have a sw kenner chewie moc. Thanks for sharing this 2 beautiful kenner moc 8)

A timely choice Lars, with the very sad news of the passing of dear old Peter Mayhew.

This was always a favourite figure for me as a child, even if I did wish Chewie's head could turn and his crossbow looked a bit more like it was supposed to!

Here are mine. From left to right, I have, 1) a dark, shiny brown pouch figure with light blue eyes and large eye whites, 2) a narrower pouch figure with dark blue eyes and large eye whites, 3) a light blue eyes and small eye whites figure with green crossbow, 4) a metallic green/gold pouch (it REALLY doesn't photograph that way though!) figure with light blue eyes and large eye whites.

I have also photographed the COO's, plus 2 of the bowcasters close-up to show the sculpting differences in the ones that I own, and all four of mine with light behind them to show the translucency differences, especially in the green.

And lastly, I can offer up another trusty reseal.

Ok first I was surprised that you were not the first to post your collection in this thread   But I forgive you, since I have not had time to share mine yet

Also one of my favorite figures and I still have my childhood chewie and damn he is a beater today

I must admit I never wish chewie head could turn, I think it would look wrong on this figure if it could turn :? I agree the crossbow could be better, but it was first when I got to old to play with it that I saw the crossbow was wrong

Lovely army of variants that you have, thanks for all the great pictures and info about the figures 8)

and that reseal looks fantastic, great to see another palitoy card 8)

I've just been going through my West End Games Escape from the Death Star game and found these rarely seen Chewbacca items.
There's also Han, Luke and Leia for anyone looking for completely obscure character focus items.

nice chewie items, thanks for sharing them :D

They were all reseals that I amassed whilst on the hunt for the right one for me but I think nearly all of them have been sold on now. On the plus side though must of them went to people on here so I'm very happy to see them go to goos homes :D
